Our "Wednesday Lunch Bunch" arrived at Barnhill's about one o'clock on a cold, but tolerable afternoon. They seated us immediately (squeezed us in) and were prompt with menus, utensils, etc. We had never been here before. I suggested the place to my group because of a write-up in the News-Journal. I thought they could have moved some more tables around, but we were surrounded and could not make it work until some folks left, so we forgot about it. Guys like to talk about what to eat. So we did. Got some beers, sodas and water in an efficient timely manner and finally we decided on ordering some food. One corned beef, four crab cakes and as many "smash burgers" as needed. All the food arrived at more or less the same time (considering a party of nine). It was hot in the hot places and fresh in the fresh places. Pretty darn good, I'd say. The fries could have been hotter, but since they were something between a chip and a fry, they passed. My "smash burger" was excellent. In fact NO ONE had anything bad to say about any of it. The owner, Professor Barnhill came over and talked for a good while and we enjoyed getting to know this former University Professor. (We have one of those in our group). I will go back for sure. Maybe check things out at a busier time, just to see... The only downside is parking. Well, it is Flagler Beach, enough said.

We were greeted promptly and given a table right away. The menu looks yummy and the staff was very nice. I was a little turned off by the $1.00 each for toppings for the potato and the $3.00 for sauce. Ummm! I'm not sure how gourmet it needs to be; but I'm pretty certain a ramekin of sauce or sour cream does not compute.

Our first time here. Service was great, very warm and friendly. Food was very good. We got the "Crunchy Sweet Chili Tai Shrimp Scampi" what a nice surprise just the right amount of heat and loved the crunch. We will definitely be back.

I've been to Barnhills twice before for breakfast and lunch, but not dinner. We decided to go to dinner here tonight and so glad we did! Food was so fresh, tasty and presentation topped off our dining experience this evening. Don't forget Barnhill's for dinner, as you'll be grateful you didn't!

Upper deck is beautiful and they are adding on more roof space. Met the owner, Ted, who is making this place into a Flagler Beach gem. Cant wait to go back for brunch.

I truly enjoyed the experience. I sat at the bar so obviously I was greeted quickly and had a menu and a drink. The bartender Jonathan helped me to navigate menu choices. I ordered a crab cake sandwich and he recommended the chefs seasonal veggies as a side. The crab cake was all crab meat, insanely good and the veggies were perfect. I'm not afraid of seasoning and it was well done. The bartender had a command of the room and his station was clean. He had an air of tranquility and effortless you find in great staff at fine dining restaurants. I loved the service, the food and the vibe. Very happy.

Stopped in recently due to all the yummy-looking healthy food options I kept seeing posted in the foodie groups. Barnhill's did not disappoint! I had a mojito (hey, fresh mint counts as healthy, right?) and a delicious bowl with rice, black beans, roasted sweet potatoes, micro greens, corn, a light sauce and avocado... it was a huge bowl that I happily took home left overs for dinner. It's a great place to eat, and most of the seats have an ocean view. My server was just lovely and not only was the service impeccable, but I told her I was playing tourist and exploring new places in the town, and she gave me a coupon for the boutique downstairs with some awesome beach attire, jewelry and adorable clothes. I ended up buying some Flagler beach goodies and was happy to support local! It has a nice bar and great drink selections. Highly recommend!

Good restaurant in the heart of Flagler Beach. Looks smaller than it is! Seating is on the second and 3rd floor, they offer inside and outside (covered and uncovered) but note that outdoor seating is mostly 2 person. Indoor seating is ample with many 4 tops. There is a wheelchair lift for those in need. We visited during brunch hours. They have baristas and a cafe' making lattes, cappuccinos, fancy teas and more as well as fresh made muffins, croissants, and cookies. Parking is a challenge but be patient and know you will have to drive around just a bit to locate a spot. They are currently in their soft opening but I will say service was good, food came out pretty fast, my husband said he would come back daily for the crab benedict (it was that good)! Next visit I will ask to be seated at a table in the bar area (more light for indoor seating). The 3rd floor is a definite MUST for future date nights - the view is GREAT!
